We’re working with a growing organisation that is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to support continued growth and strengthen its market presence.

This is a senior, strategic role focused on identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and driving commercial performance. You’ll play a key role in shaping business development strategy, supporting tender activity, and working closely with senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across existing and new markets
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform commercial strategy
  • Develop and deliver business development plans and accurate sales forecasts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Represent the business at meetings, events, and industry forums
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to drive growth
     

About You

  • Proven experience in a Business Development Manager role
  • Strong background in sales with exposure to tenders and bid processes
  • Commercially minded, strategic, and data-driven
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable travelling as required and building a strong professional network

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Administrator to join a well-established and highly respected FMCG manufacturer based in Maldon on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting office operations and facilities
  • Managing PPE and stock control

About the Company

A growing and ambitious digital marketing agency based near Chelmsford is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about search engine optimisation, content strategy, and digital analytics to take ownership of multiple client accounts and deliver impactful SEO strategies that drive measurable results.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team where innovation and professional development are actively encouraged.


The Role

As SEO Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering SEO strategies across a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring websites achieve improved visibility, rankings and performance.

You’ll play a key role in both technical and content-led SEO, analysing performance data and implementing strategies that deliver long-term growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research and optimise website content to improve search rankings
  • Manage and update website content across CMS platforms, including WordPress
  • Implement and monitor SEO strategies using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, SEMrush and Screaming Frog
  • Develop and optimise metadata, including titles, descriptions and tags
  • Analyse website performance data and report on key optimisation metrics
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied across digital content
  • Monitor industry trends, algorithm updates and SEO best practices
     

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in SEO optimisation and digital marketing strategies
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals
  • Experience using WordPress or other CMS platforms
  • Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush or Ahrefs
  • Knowledge of schema markup, structured data and XML sitemaps
  • Understanding of E-E-A-T principles and topical authority
  • Experience acquiring high-quality backlinks through outreach, digital PR or content marketing
  • Ability to analyse competitor backlinks and identify link opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritise workload effectively
  • Agency experience preferred but not essential
